Rawdogging My Health — one author, evidence-first habits
How many times have we wanted a “quick fix” for our health and weight? I have lost count on how many times I have tried and failed to stay “on track” with my healthy habits. I’m 38 years old and you would think that I would have gotten a hang of it by now. The first thing we need to start with is meeting ourselves where we truly are. My daughter is really into softball and I recently watched a softball coach just meet the kids where they are. How simple of a concept, right? That’s exactly what we need to do for ourselves to begin our health journey. Just meet yourself where you are and start from there.
Evidence-First Habit Change
We focus on the unsexy basics that move the needle: sleep, protein, fiber, daily steps, strength training, and stress management. Every post aims to separate signal from wellness noise so you can build routines that hold up in real life—no GLP-1s, peptides, or “magic” stacks required.
Food Without Supplement Theater
Nutrition here is practical and ingredient-forward: high-satiety meals, smarter grocery defaults, and simple prep systems you can repeat. We highlight what matters most for weight management and metabolic health—without leaning on powders, gummies, or synthetic shortcuts.
Training, Recovery, and Consistency
Workouts should support your life, not hijack it. We cover strength and conditioning fundamentals, recovery habits, and progress tracking that keeps you honest without obsession. Expect frameworks, examples, and realistic plans you can follow for months, not days.
ABOUT THIS BLOG
Rawdogging My Health is a place for people who want better results without shortcuts — no GLP-1s, no peptides, no artificial supplements.
Rawdogging My Health started as a running set of notes on what actually moved the needle: simple food, training that you can repeat, and habits that survive real life. I wanted a record of wins and failures that didn’t end in “just buy this stack” or “ask your doctor for the latest injection.”
This site exists to translate health noise into decisions you can defend. Posts are built around first principles, credible research, and practical constraints—time, budget, appetite, stress, sleep. If a claim can’t be explained clearly or tested in daily life, it doesn’t make the cut.
Independence is the point. No sponsored pills, no paid “miracle” protocols, no affiliate pressure to recommend something you don’t need. If you choose to support the work by reading, sharing, or subscribing, it keeps the focus where it belongs: honest, repeatable health.
